hard start

i have a 2000 25hp. on a cold start there is no issue..after running the boat, i have a hard time starting. once started the boat runs good, just getting it started..

ive changed the spark plugs, no improvemnt, any ideas

Rebuilding carbs, setting float level, adjusting and sycn carbs. may resolve it. Sometimes engine runs too hot, replacing water pump impeller and thermostats helps.

the water coming out of the phole, should it be warm or hot...cold

if i adj the idle screw higher then it starts right up..

but then the idl adj iss off.
