Yamaha f60 c rattle

Hi all,

i ahve upgraded fro a f60a to a 2007 f60c, basically carburettor to EFi. i have noticed a rattle or tinny sound on start up on this new motor which lasts about 5 seconds and goes away. it tends to do this when cold or sitting for a while. If it was a car you would say it is the exhaust rattle.

The motor runs faultlessly and i am very impressed.

Is this a normal sound for these motors as the whole sound is different from the carbi model to the efi.

The mechanical fuel pump will sometimes make a tapping noise until it is fully primed with fuel, pumping the fuel primer bulb helps stop the tapping noise.

but this noise seems to be coming from the lower end and sounds like a rattle/ vibration from an echaust. It only lasts a few seconds and goes away. It almost goes away when the motor pee hole reaches maximum pressure?????? or stabilises.

Anything wrong??

I havn't noticed any doing that, probably need to take it to your dealer.
