Lower unit problem 90hp

Guys I think my lower unit is bad. it wont go in gear. Does any1 have one that they want to sell.

did you unhook cable...see if it engages manaully ?

yeah thats the first thing I did. Drop the lower unit. make sure the control puts the shift linkage into gear. That works fine. I also tried to put the gear in forward and turn the drive shaft. seems like it wants to turn but slips. I think i have a bad control dog.
