prop shaft seal?

Anyone know of a way to change the prop shaft seals without removing the bearing carrier assembly? Do I have to remove the bearing carrier?

I found water in the oil from some fishing line. I wish to install new prop & drive shaft seals and new water pump and test. The drive shaft seals look easy enough.

Motor is a 1987 40hp.

e' a job much delicate one, to make themselves also without to take apart the total one, attention to the taking apart of the old estates, not to ruin the relative center! I council to take apart also total!
