Yamaha 150 vmax 0x66. I have all digital gauges with the idiot light for the temperature. How hard is it to install an actual temperature gauge on the motor and about how would or could you rig it in. Thanks.

Easy. Just stop by your Yamaha dealer and pickup a Yamaha analog temp gauge. It comes as a complete kit for about $65. You just drill a 2" hole in your console wherever you want the gauge to mount and run the wiring harness up from the motor to the console (using either the chase string left in the boat's rigging tube, or a nylon chase tape from Home Cheapo...). The sender screws in to a 14mm threaded hole there on the top of the starboard side cylinder bank right near the head. There's a blank plug there now. Take that out and replace the plug with the sender. The gauge will also have a blue and a black wire for it's gauge lighting. These plug into the other blue and black wires under the console. It takes about an hour to do the installation.
