tilt trim solenoid/relay

Hey guys, I need some help. I replaced the trim solenoid about 6 months ago. It worked fine after that. Now I am having problems again.

It will not go up or down, I can hear a click when I try to trim up but not when down. I can jump the solenoid to raise the motor but when I try to lower it by jumping the + to the green it sparks like I'm welding. Do you think this is another bad solenoid or a relay? Where in the hell is that damn relay anyway.

Now I tried swapping the green wire to the blue post and the blue to the green and now it will not work at all. Even when I put them back to the correct posts. Do you think I fried something?
