Guages

I am replaceing all my guages and am wondering about my temperature guage. When I replace the original guage am I going to loose the alarm? I would like to go with a Faria head temp guage instead of the water temp guage. Is this a good idea? and does anyone know where I can get one?

No the Temp gauge has no affect on warning system, the buzzer will sound with or without a gauge if it overheats. The aftermarket temp gauges will work.
