1986 150 oil pump

bought a pump #6r3-13200-09 to change out one that leaks into the carbs when tilted up. The parts list shows a differt pump with this one as a conversion kit. Any idea what the difference is and can I use it? thanks

all you had to do was install check valves into oil lines. you can purchase them at a dealer.
