85AET outboard

As the new owner of a used 85aet outboard I have found that this is a 1995 motor.

Can someone confirm this for me please?

Next, I need to know where I can buy an anode. The anode on the lower casing is in bad shape.

And are there 2 anodes?

I also would like to know what gauge the battery cables are. The cables currently on the boat are the original Yamaha cables but will beed replacing soon.

Does anyone know where I can get a manual for this motor?

maybe I am missing something but I could not find anything on this web site with regards to an 1995 85AET.

The parts link sends me to the Yamaha web site and they do not have anything for this motor.

Any ideas? WHat am I doing wrong?

I think you will find the 85aet is a 1993 motor.
Mine is a 90aeto. I thought it was 1989 and brought a manual for that year.
The two links below explained what age my motor was when I was scratching my head with the other letter coding like on Yamahas site.
I don't know why my motor isn't listed anywhere. It thought it must be some Australian thing. We are a bit behind the rest of the world.

Even though my motor does not appear in the dropdown menu in the buying parts section, I buy parts like anodes based on the 90 HP that does appear in the menu.

If the above is wrong, I also would appreciate some one pointing me in the right direction.
