Well first off my name is chris and I have yamaha 1996 carb S200TXRU outboard. My motor blew up two weeks ago and I took it apart and found out that # 4 cyl piston had let go. There was no damaged to anything but the cyl wall. The block was sent to be check out and i was told that i would have to go 20 over no big deal. My ? is do i have to replace the main and rod bearings. I was told that if there was no damaged to the lower end don't replace anything but cyl # 4 bearings, pistons and all gaskets. I will be buying all the parts from boats.net. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long poast.
