2001 YAMAHA 9.9 T9.9PXPZ

Hi, i just purchased a boat and it has a Yamaha *****ing motor with the number T9.9PXRZ
66R 750146. I'm trying to purchase parts for this motor but it not listed as T9.9PXRZ, anyone know why?

Does the little motor in fact have a power tilt feature? Its very rare on the T9.9 if it does. What kind of parts are you looking for? The "P" in the suffix means it has power tilt and electric start. But other than that you can use the standard T9.9 motor's parts.

Yes indeed it has the power tilt. I would agree that using the standard non-power tilt would work, but the part I need is the swivel backet, which the power tilt is attached.
Do the 15 hp and 8 hp has a power tilt listing.
Do you which would be the same as my motor?

Yes, both the 8hp and the 15hp offer a power tilt version. I would lean toward the 15hp being the same tilt unit as yours. Look it up in the Boats.net parts listing and see if it looks like your part, but you may end up going down to the dealer with your part in hand and comparing it to the replacement piece.
