I just got a 96 sprint and it has a 115 yamaha when first start, it smokes bad yet after it run at high RPM it clears out. What should I do please help.

if it was the first start after the winter period...it has burnt the protective oil from the cylinders....if the problem remains contact the dealer...

It is normal for the 2-strokes to smoke more at startup.
Is your 115 a pre-mix or oil injected?
