90 hp 2 stroke oil injection ?

i have a 2005 90 2 stroke oil injection.after a couple days the oil going to #1 cly. in the cleare hose leaks down.after starting the motor
oil is pumped back into line after a minute or so.
mech. told me this is normal i dont by that.seams to me the motor needs some oil even at low rpms.
i ordered a new check valve to install.thanks for any in put.
