Install Trim Gauge New Motor

Last fall I bought a new fishing boat with a Yahmaha F250 motor. This year when I had a chance to take the new boat out I was amazed to find that a bran new rig like this was not fitted with a trim guage.

What do I need to do now to install a trim sender and guage?

If a buy a trim sender and guage will the motor harness have the wires to run the signal from the sender to the guage?

Where can I find an diagram which will show how to install the sender on the motor itself.

being we have no idea what motor you are speaking about it will be hard to say much

Which style yamaha gauge(s) do you have...older style round, square, command link LCD? Trim sender is a standard feature with every Yam I can think of. The digital trim indicator is located on the far right side of the tachometer gauge for the round gauges. I believe the newer LCD command link gauge is all in one...fuel, tach, speed, trim, volts, etc.
