  • Engine revision / weard damage

I'm rebuilding a 2-stroke 200 hp from 1999. Before assembly i inspected the cylinders for any damage. 5 out of six seems to have piston marks in the bottom of the block. See picture. Is this normal? If not any idea how this could happen?

If you look into the ( empty) cylinder, and look into the connection rod "pass trough" to the crankshaft. The damege seems to be created bij the piston pin bridge from the pistin
