First post....bare with me. Great site by the way. I've completed a total new wiring job and disconnected all gauges. Marked all the connections before I disassembled but I find I have a few wires with no place to go. I have a digital tach and a LCD Marine Meter on a 99 Ox66 225hp.
On the LCD Meter I have the white/blue stripe and understand this is the fuel sender wire. It has a bullet connector and I don't remember this wire being connected anywhere. I am installing a brand new tank with a Wema sender with a black and white wire. Do I connect the pink wire to the white/blue stripe and connect the black to ground?
On the Tach, I have one black, one yellow and one blue with bullet connections. I labeled each with a corresponding number but now I find they have no place to go. Various sources give me conflicting information on what to do with the yellow and blue wires. I also have the one black wire....all three with bullets and no place to plug them in to.
This is the last detail before I turn the key. Any help is greatly appreciated.
