no power

I have approx 20 year old 50etlj outboard
that has hardly ever been used 15 tanks gas maybe.
It starts and idles perfect,all cylinders firing,
but when I start to go ,it revs to maybe 2000 rpm and thats it,it's like it's starved of gas,checked vent gas tank ,bulb not collasped
just won't get up and go,the gas filter clean,I think looks clean,please any help before I have to trailer it and bring to marina,any suggestion would be great,summer just starting here and the fish are biting please help.

Tear down the carbs and soak 'em in cleaner. Clean out all the jets and passages.

Ok thats the ticket ,but funny it ran for about and hr at good speed and slowly died,ok I should have done the carbs before because the thing sat for 4 yrs untouched.
