I have 08 350's with newer power heads. My STBD engine will not start. There is 13 volts at the motor, trim/tilt work, with key on you can hear the fuel pump whine, and if idling on the good motor the non-running motor will shift into reverse and neutral and forward. This is also reflected in the control screen for this motor. I have had a "STBD 156 / Eng-R/C Communication" fault. I also discovered a blown 60 amp Isolator fuse and replaced it but when you hit the STBD start button nothing happens. The fuse has not blown again but I have not gotten the motor to start yet. I have jumped the STBD motor from the port motor to rule out a bad power or ground. Any ideas? I have ordered a new dual start button assembly to rule out a bad button.

my recommendation.
fix the R/C issue.
may be as simple as an R/C reset.
may have a helm ECU or engine ECU issue.
your going to have to have the 2.23 yds and the breakout box to isolate the helm or the engine.
you should also have a flashing yellow at the helm.
