50hp vs 90 hp on 20 ft. pontoon.

Not really happy with speed of my pontoon with 50hp.
yamaha 2 cycle. The engine runs great but am thinking about upgrading to a 70hp or 90 hp and increasing the speed,but just wondering how much I would gain with 70 or 90 hp yamaha,s? Thanks.

Depending on the boat but usually between 5 to 10 mph.

Just a follow up on 50 to 90 hp. Yamaha on my pontoon boat.My 20 foot boat gained about 13mph and much better hole power.I am glad I upgraded to 9o Hp.and appreciated the info which was pretty close. Thank you.
