YDS ver 1.32 w/ 2016 Model year outboard

My friend wants to know his exact engine hours on his 2016 not sure of the model # believe it's a 115hp.

I have Version 1.32 and 1.33 YDS for my 2006 and 2009 engines and was wondering if the older version

1- Uses the same connector as the newer 2.x stuff?
2 - Can be used to get engine hours from the newer engines?

same connector. may or may not work.
try it.
I know it wont work on large engines.
