• 200 ox66 blowing fuse

I recently went on a fishing trip and went about 100 yards and my engine died. The main fuse on the engine was blown. I can replace the fuse and it will run about 2 or 3 minutes and blow the fuse again. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

I would check the voltage regulator for over-voltage. I sent you the electrical chapter out of the book to help your troubleshooting. Good luck.

TG,
You can monitor the rectifier/regulator output right at the starter battery terminals. With motor
at idle, should be around 13 volts, and increasing from there up to about 14.6 over 3000 rpm and as the battery charges back up.
Anything over 14.6, and problems start happening, including blowing fuses.
Good luck ,
