I would like to know if a short knocking sound at startup about 2 to 4 second is anything I should be concerned with. It almost sounds like valves knocking. I am presently cleaning the salt deposits from my exhaust plates and ports as well as the head passages. I tripped an overheat alarm. It is running really good. Compression test good, thermostats good and PCV good.
