  • Considering upgrading to 250 SHO LONG SHAFT

I am looking at switching motors from a 2015 F250 (3.3L) to the new 250 SHO with a long shaft. Would I need new controls or is it just as simple as swapping our the motors?

It will all be plug and play. Just unplug stuff from the old motor, remove the F250, install the VF250 and then plug the stuff to the new motor.

    I presume the F250 has a 25" shaft and the new VF25 will have a 25" shaft.

The SHO comes in a long shaft and an extra long shaft. The F250 is either an extra long shaft or ultra long shaft.

If you have an F250XA then you want the VF250XA.
