Hi all, has anyone ever attempted to move or modify the trim switch location to somewhere more user friendly like the current 4 stroke switch location (at the end of the throttle on the tiller handle)?
I have been to the local Yamaha dealer but they didn't seem to have much idea. They suggested buying the shroud, switch and the rubber grip and trying to fit it to the existing throttle handle but that will cost around $300 and it's not even guaranteed to fit/work. Another option was to put the trim switch on the gunnel but I'm not too keen on that.
Any input would be very appreciated.
