Yamaha 250BTXR

My 2010 BTXR 250 Yamaha four stroke will loose power every now and then and will get up on plane the fall on its face after 4-5 seconds and then some times it will take a long time to get on plane. I am loosing power somewhere and can find the problem. Thanks for any help out there.

when was the last VST filter service?
