I have recently puchased a yacht with a 9.9hp four stroke Yamaha outboard serial no F9.9AM 6G8 UL 700779.

The yacht came with a dinghy with a 8hp two stroke Yamaha outboard serial no 8CM 6GI S 043612.

What years were these motors manufactured?

Those model and serial numbers don't match our list they might be made by Yamaha Motor LTD which are sold sold in USA

are you sure that is not a 6g1 if it is then you have a 1982 and 1984
