Oil injection pump adjustment/settings

Hi guys,last year i got me a 1993 115 hp two stroke V4 in boxes!

I made it a total rebuild over the winter and it now runs great,but it smokes a lot.

The link between the carb and the oil pump is adjustable,but i cant find any place where it is described what the position of the oil pump arm,is ment to be at idle.

Can some of you tell me that???

Thanks a lot,now i better understand that it smokes.

I suspected that this was the setting,course why should they make it so it can give to little oil!!

But why is it at all adjustable,do you maybe need more oil if you are running low octane gas??

it is a variable ratio oiling system.
it depends on throttle angle and engine speed.
