motor dies wontstart for twenty minues or more the gose a little die2000 vmax 066 225

Ok so I brought it to mechanic he said ECU
motor runs for a little bit then dies some times dies on plane sometimes on idle.. after it dies sometimes it takes 20 min. or more before it will start again sometime longer Help any ideas

Things I have done
cleaned VST filter which it ran all day but ran rough then next time out died a few times just like before...replaced all fuel lines and ball replace fuel filter,drained and replaced all gas..
