2001 Yam150 tilt trim

My tilt trim leaked all of the fluids out this weekend ! I've watched a couple youtubes and want to try and rebuild it myself! question is does the 5 O-rings between the pump and pistons ever go bad or just the seals on top the pistons ? Also any suggestion for removing the caps without spending 160. for the 2 wrenches ?

yes the orings simply leak occasionaly.
buy the correct tools for the job and it works.
pay close attention to where the check valves and the little pins and balls fall out from when you separate the pump assy from the body.
the torque spec on the caps are about 80FtLB.
they are tight.
DO NOT try the hammer and punch method.
