Water filter

Does any one know if a yammy 175hp hpdi has a water filter that needs to be cleaned or replaced. Motor is peeing (not as hard as normal) but water pressure gauge is showing very low pressure. New impeller was just installed, Didn't help. Thanks

I've never heard of an outboard with a cooling water filter?....only inlet screens to keep large object out of water pump area....

while new water pump is a good thing.
did you inspect the thermostats and the pressure control valve?
