Dual key switch

I have two dual key switch assemblies. One will give a beep, beep, beep when each key is turned on. A system check I am told. This one was on the boat when it was bought. From what I am told it had twin 4 strokes on it. When using this key switch I tried cranking when kill switch was activated, no buzzer. The other assembly that came with my 2000 SX250TXRY has no beep at key switch on but does give a loud buzz if trying to crank with kill switch activated. Do I have different assemblies or do I have a different issue with each assembly?

You have a different issue with each assembly, Yamaha Dual Panel key Switch should give a beep sound at key on, and a solid sound when trying to crank with the stop switch lanyard out, when you clip it back in the sound should stop.
