Help to identify the year of my outboard

Hi everyone iam new to this forum and I am asking if anyone can help me identify the year of my yamaha 5hp outboard the only marking or plate on the engine is in the attached,
Any help would be fantastic

Appears to be a 1980 short shaft

Actually John has a Yamaha internal document that gives some clue to when motors were made and what are their equivalents around the globe.

By the way, what Yamaha website do you go to? Yamaha UK, Yamaha Europe or ???
