Yamaha questions

I have a 2001 Yamaha Outboard model F15MLHA. First, It starts and then floods as gas leaks out of the carb. Is this the float that is sticking? Is it easy to disassemble clean and reassemble? Second can I convert this model to an electric start? Parts available?

The carb needs to be removed and cleaned, probably is gummed or varnished up. There are no electric start kits available, you would have to buy all the parts seperatly from a F15ELHA model listing.
