iam having a problem with my 225 exel 1988 itake the boat out i start out in idle speed but when i give it trottle it bogs out but if i can get it past that point it runs great it only happens in idle speed i cleaned the carbs and change all filters and plugs any suggestions?

What do you mean by "i cleaned the carbs" ?
Sounds like clogged jets in the carbs - try removing the jets and squirting some Berryman's Chemtool into the orifices. If that does not help, then the carbs need to be removed, torn down, cleaned, and a kit installed.
