By "tilt stop lever" I refer to the flip-up support lever that will bear the weight of the motor in the tilted position.
This mechanism has a spring on the inside of the motor cowling that keeps it in the retract position.
On my motor, when the mechanism is retracted it only returns to about half the distance that it should. This issue doesn't allow the motor to tilt down smoothly, in the final position, like it should but comes down in a ****ing motion.
Either the spring is not the correct spring or the spring is not adjusted properly. I look in the manual and don't see anything that would help me.
Any ideas?
