  • No speed dial signal

    Hi,
My 60FEO 6H2 S 100508 runs great, but the speed dial doesn't show how many knots I travel anymore.
I had the lower unit removed over the winter. Could I have done something wrong when putting it back that screws up the speed indication?
The oil level light is is working on in the same dial,so there is electrical connection.

Thanks in advance for any advice on how to get the speed dial working

there is a hole in the front edge of lower unit that sends water pressure up the motor to transom area that a hose connects to that runs to the gauge, if that is the type of gauge you have.
Tiny hole in lower unit could be plugged or you did not hook the hoses back up when putting the lower back on

      Thanks,
This could well be the issue. It is tricky to fiddle with the tiny hose when mounting the lower unit.
