Hi i'm new to the forum. I recently bought a boat with a 60hp Yamaha 6fo motor. My problem is the bottom and top swivel bracket bushes are worn and need to be replaced how difficult is it to remove the powerhead and can I do it while the motor is attached to the boat

if your talking about the bushings that allow the motor to turn left and right.
the brackets can be left attached but the power head,lower unit and midsection must be removed..
if your talking about the bushings on the tube that allows the motor to tilt up and down. its easier with the motor removed from the transom.
