OX 66 - throttle sensor position

Runs fine slow , when I want too open it up between 2500 & 3000 rpms engine does not open up , slowly moving throttle , once over 3000 it opens jolting passengers , After it passes that point runs fine , I see others turning sensor just a bit , Others remove and bench test noticing reduced oms on meter then it increases , Same symptoms on boat , Should I just replace , Clean ??

Have you tested the resistance of the TPS to verify that it changes smoothly and consistently from one end of the range to the other end? Sounds like you might have an anomaly in the change of resistance.

What is the complete model of the motor? They are not all the same.
