I need a new Yamaha 30" counter rotating lower unit for a 2006 Yamaha LF250TUR 0405.
Engine serial # 6P3 U 1003591
Part No. 6P3-45300-33-8D
Apparently there are 2 available but both in Japan.
Trying to think of other possible solutions to get a new gearcase. I believe the 3.3L 250’s were made up until 2018 and I think from 2007 and on the lower units have 2 water inlets on the nose of the lower unit where the 2006 does not. Will any of the 30” counter rotating lower units from the 2007-2018 years be compatible and bolt right onto my engine? I believe the current part no. is 6P3-45300-53-8D. I don’t know if these are available either.
let me know if you definitely know if these newer lower units will work on my engine and if the newer part no. I reference is correct.
