Guys I have two 40HP yamaha 2006-6h4L844351 3 cylinder motors. The one has a bad shake when trawling slowly and on inspection looks like I need to replace the lower side mount damper's. I have taken the lower unit off and undone all the bolts below the head but cant seem to remove the middle leg to in order to remove the mounts. Does anybody out there know the correct way to remove the mounts? I have also removed the circlip on the back shaft which I noticed is also very corroded on the spline but I am not sure if this is what is causing the problem.
