Hello,
this is Martin, and ive a question about the nmea2000, my Yamaha F40 FETS (Modell 2011) and my Raymarine a68.
I've already read a lot about it, but I understand it not exactly yet.
Maybe you can help me to correctly understand it, so I do not buy anything wrong.
I have the Command Link Hub, the two gauges and the y-cop installed, one BUS and one device port is still available for use.
Now i want to connect my new Raymarine a68 Plotter to the command Link HUB.
As i understand, i can use one of these cables, to have nmea 2000:
3861-F - Offshore Systems Yamaha Hub to N2K Micro Female Socket - 3861-F for only $61.95 ! (For the Device Port)
or
3862 - Offshore Systems Yamaha Hub to NMEA 2000 Cabling Extender - 3862 for only $61.95 ! (For the BUS Port)
is that correct? are there any other options or manufacturer? since this is the only one ive found. Do i Have to cut the Red Wire?
now when i have nmea 2000 i will need an adaptor cable from nmea 2000 to sea talk NG.
Which could be raymarine A06046 for the Device cable above or raymarine A06045 for the Bus cable above .
Is that correct and anything i need?
ive found that there is also
A06075
A06076
A06078
These are the same adapter cables only in different lengths?
i hope you will understand my english.
thank you very much
Martin
