In 2005 Yamaha installed an in-line fuel filter on F115 engines between the low-pressure fuel pump and the VST. This in-line fuel filter is not cheap, but it is easier to replace than disassembling the VST and replacing the suction filter on the high-pressure fuel pump. Has anyone installed this in-line filter on 2002-2004 F115 engines, and did they experience any problems with this modification? Does anyone know what micron level this filter is?
