Swapping Tiller to Remote and Vice Versa

Good Morning,

I have a 2014 Yamaha F30 on a Carolina Skiff JV15 Center Console. I want to upgrade to an F40, if I were to be able to find an Yamaha F40 Tiller for sale could I easily hook the remotes that are already installed in my boat to the F40 and take the Tiller components off the F40 and install those on my F30 to sell as a Tiller motor?

Man I feel really stupid for not thinking of that lol. I know the Yamaha F30 and F40 share a manual so I would think the part numbers would be the same but I will try to check and make sure for certain.Thanks
