Have a 2018 F250XCA connected to a gateway connected to a Simrad NSS 12 evo2.
The reading on the Simrad display for water temp never goes higher than the 120's. My mechanic (who knows nothing about electronics) when plugged in to the ECM has normal readings.
We talked to Simrad had me do a reset could not answer the problem. In so many words they said we just display the data sent.
Has anyone had this problem or can shed some light? I'm uncomfortable just relying on the Yamaha warning sound for overheating which unless you are at idle cannot be heard very well.
