The tachometer stopped working. I replaced the Tach and the CPS and it still doesn't work. Tach has power...........HELP

Why was the CPS replaced? Was it providing a failure code? Did you test and verify that it was defective?

Have you verified that the tachometer signal wire from the CDI to the tachometer is in good working condition? That wire has multiple connection points. One at the CDI, one at the engine end of the ten pin coupler, one at the helm end of the ten pin connector, one at the helm end of the gauge fused harness and one at the tachometer end of the gauge fused harness. Lots of opportunities for a problem.
