Small pipe in rigging tube Yamaha f150xa

Yamaha f150xa 2013. Can some one verify if part 6R3-24377-10-00 is connecting the fuel line after the primer bulb to the engine? If so I would think this can cause problems clogging leading to fuel starvation

Everything that is used in a fuel supply problem can lead to a fuel flow restriction.

You can verify where the part is used on your own.

if you think a hole that big will plug up and be a problem, the filters/screens would be a real bad problem with their small sized mesh
you should not be pumping that kind of debris thru the fuel system

Looks like it's (part #2) a connector for the fuel line. Part # 1 is a dampener as well. As Yamaha has it designed into the system, I'd think it's best to run it as designed..
