Hello all!
My son and I own a 1998 Hewes 19 bay fisher with a Yamaha 150 saltwater series II.
The trim button on the throttle will trim up but not down. The switch on the motor works fine in both directions, so I assume the motor pump and hydraulics are OK.
Last weekend,we removed and replaced the throttle switch with a new one purchased at a local dealer. After installing (without routing the wires) the problem still exists. No change.
After study, I'll admit I'm stuck. Any advice on where to look next?
Is there a schematic available anywhere?
