Yamaha F150 VST "F" Filter

Based on its location before and located above the VST, would the upside down "U" or F plastic filter , tend to trap an air bubble upon first fill? Not that it would matter and fuel will pass but just curious if the bubble is there?

The real question is How will we know how much oxygen is in that air without a pressure sensor, and how it will affect performance at different altitudes.

A bubble in the filter will cause the fuel to use less filter media and will cause shorter life span of filter. Not a big deal, but may spark some thought as to a better type and location of the pre VST filter.

it will fill, no worries.
kinda like the engine filter cup is only half full when running.
