  • F30 Pilot air screw settings

    Hi,

I had a problem with an F30 rough idle.

I removed and cleaned all three carburettors but I did not record the number of turns on the pilot screws prior to removal.

I've balanced the butterflies on all three carburettors with a Morgan carb-tune kit which was not as difficult as I first thought.

Motor now runs as sweet as a nut @900rpm

Can anyone recommend a starting point from closed for the pilot screws

I currently have them about 2 turns out?

For some reason my list does not include the F30. The F40 is two turns plus or minus a half turn in either direction so you may be within allowable tolerances. If the motor runs fine I would just leave well enough alone.
