Hey everyone, finally got my new to me 2006 Lund 1660 Classic on the water this week. With two guys in the boat it will run 30mph at 6000 rpm. Motor has a 10 5/8 12 pitch prop. At 5500 rpm it runs 27 mph. The motor specs say rpm range is 5000-6000 full throttle. I am a little cautious to run closer to the 6000 rpm which the motor will do with this prop on it. Just wonder what opinion u guys have on this. Shud I go to a higher pitch prop say a 13 or 14. Thanks

Is it possible the prop has lost some cup or surface area like my prop on my C40.
I know I need to buy a new prop or send this one in to have it reworked.
It use to hit 5500 at WOT, but now it gets closer to 5800.
I just keep an eye on the RPMs and never run it full out normally except to get up on plane for just a short spurt unless running from a rainstorm
